Default Student film competitions

Anyone know of any secondary student film competitions in the area? The Kentucky Theatre Project in Lousiville did one last fall; but they don't have the budget to do it again this year. That one had competitors from as far away as Hopkinsville.

What about other areas? As an educator, I know how important it is for students to be able to compete on their own level. And not enough students in Kentucky have the opportunity to compete in the Scholastics Art Competition.

It's maybe too late to work out the logistics for this school year, but does anyone in this forum have enough contacts to get a competition going in the Louisville/Lexington area?

rduncan,

Putting one together may be a possibility. That's a great idea to say the least.

I'll run it by the rest of the gang at our Thursday night business meetings and see what we can come up with.
